Shonishin is the Tradition of Japanese no needle treatment for babies and children that developed in Japan in the 17th and 18th Centuries and reached fruition in the 19th century with the Daishi Ryu Shonishin (Grandmaster Style Shonishin) through Tanioka Sensei.
Our first community class is being held at Uki @templegardentea 230pm $35 for a 1 hour practical class on 26th September. Our class will explore supportive home shonishin for general health and well-being. An online recorded class will be emailed for you for review prior to the class; exploring Traditional Japanese Medicine philosophy and history to understand the foundations od wellness for children. Shonishin home practice recognizes that generally children do not suffer from pathology but symptoms result from when Qi, Chi (Ki in Japanese) becomes stuck and stagnates, by performing shonishin we can help support and regulate the Ki flow in our children promoting a healthy vitality and responsive adaptive energy circuit (meridians).
We’d love you to come and share in this village style class where all children are welcome and we can have fun and enjoy learning together. Pease feel free to bring some afternoon tea and snacks along.
